Now you can easily take your ladder with you on your next RV trip! We have two different ladders and love them both. It is really important to me to have a safe ladder that is light weight and easy to use.

Firstly, let’s discuss our telescoping ladder which is easily stowed in the luggage compartment of our RV and can even fit under the bed. Many RVs have an emergency egress or exit window which is so high it can be dangerous to climb out in an emergency. With this ladder, you can keep it inside and extend when you need it.

Let’s explore why the Xtend & Climb Contractor Series 155+/300 Aluminum Telescoping Ladder is an excellent addition for your RV adventures:

1. Versatility and Portability

The Xtend & Climb CS155+/300 is a 15.6-foot telescoping extension ladder that offers remarkable versatility. Here’s why it’s perfect for your RV too:

  • Fully Extendable: With a reach height of 19.6 feet, this ladder allows you to access various heights with ease.
  • Compact Storage: When not in use, the CS155+/300 retracts down to a mere 36 inches. It’s incredibly space-efficient and won’t clutter your RV.
  • One-Handed Carrying: The ladder’s lightweight design enables effortless one-handed carrying. You can easily transport it from one location to another.

2. Safety and Durability

  • ANSI Type 1A Certification: The CS155+/300 boasts an Extra Heavy Duty with a load capacity of 300 lbs. It’s designed for professionals but is equally suitable for DIY projects.
  • True Telescoping Technology: Xtend & Climb’s patented locking mechanism ensures smooth extension and retraction. You can trust its stability and safety during use.
  • Aerospace-Engineered Aluminum Alloy: The ladder’s construction combines strength and lightweight properties. It’s built to withstand the rigors of outdoor use.
  • Double Over-Molded Foot Design: The ladder’s feet provide excellent grip on various surfaces, enhancing stability and preventing slips.

3. Practical Applications for RV Owners

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Whether you need to inspect your RV roof, clean gutters, or replace exterior bulbs, the CS155+/300 simplifies these tasks.
  • Access to Rooftop Amenities: If your RV has a rooftop deck or amenities, this ladder allows you to access them safely.
  • Emergency Situations: In case of emergencies, such as checking for damage after a storm, having a reliable ladder is essential.

In summary, the Xtend & Climb Contractor Series 155+/300 Aluminum Telescoping Ladder combines safety, convenience, and durability. It’s an indispensable tool for RV owners, ensuring you’re always prepared for any situation. 🚐🔧🔍

A little giant becomes a full size ladder

Our other ladder is the one I use a lot! The “Little Giant” folding ladder is available in various sizes. It is light weigh, has wheels and is very SAFE. We use this ladder in our RV travels. Alan, a Master RV Tech, even uses it commercially during RV repairs for climbing to service and repair RV roofs. We can stow it inside our fifthwheel’ss basement storage area or in the back of the truck. It has even traveled in the back of our compact sports car.

How long of a ladder do you need?

Alan’s note: In my mobile RV technician business, I use the Little Giant 13 foot ladder for almost every project. I can easily reach over the height of most RV roofs. I often inspect roof top seals and service RV air conditioners. With this ladder, I can quickly extend to the full height and safely but carefully be on the roof. For Airstreams, I can set the ladder up beside the RV and climb across to any Airstream’s fragile roof. Airstreams are strong, but the aluminum roof can be damaged from buckling if you put weight on the wrong pressure points.

Sometimes I need to reach the ceiling inside the RV which is often just out of reach when standing on the floor. This ladder is so easy to lift inside the RV and set a lower height so I can easily reach light fittings and airconditioning ducts on the ceiling.
